Inky lets you draw a sketch and share it with a link. By using Inky you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, please don't use it.

What you can post

You're responsible for what you draw and share. Don't use Inky to post anything that:

• is illegal
• harasses, threatens or targets a real person
• promotes hate or violence against people or groups
• shares someone's private information
• copies artwork you don't have the right to share

Your sketches

You keep ownership of what you draw. By saving a sketch you let Inky store it, show it to anyone with the link, and look at it when we need to, like when it gets reported.

Anyone with a link can see that sketch, so don't draw anything you want kept private.

How long sketches last

Sketches are deleted automatically 7 days after they're saved, though we may keep some longer. Save a copy with the Download button if you want to keep one.

Removal and reporting

We can remove any sketch at any time, for any reason, including sketches that break these terms. Sketches that get reported are hidden until they're reviewed.

If the law requires it, we may share a sketch with the authorities.

To report a sketch, use the Report link on its page. For anything else, including copyright complaints, contact us through contact@inky.to.

No guarantees

Inky is an early, experimental service provided as is. It may change, go offline or lose sketches, and we aren't liable for any loss that results from using it.

Changes

We may update these terms. If we do, we'll change the date at the top of this page.

Privacy

Inky doesn't have accounts and doesn't ask who you are. Here's everything it keeps.

Your sketches

When you save, Inky stores the strokes you drew and the image made from them. Sketches aren't listed anywhere. Anyone with the link can see one, and so can the people who run Inky when reviewing reports or keeping the site safe. We'd only share a sketch with anyone else if the law required it. Sketches are deleted automatically 7 days after they're saved, unless we choose to keep one longer, or sooner if they're removed.

Your IP address

Inky uses your IP address briefly, in memory, to stop people from saving or reporting too often. It isn't stored with your sketch. Our hosting provider, Railway, may keep standard server logs that include IP addresses.

Your browser

While you draw, your unsaved sketch is kept in your own browser so a refresh doesn't lose it. It never leaves your device unless you press Save.

Things Inky doesn't do

• no accounts, emails or names
• no ads or ad trackers
• no selling or sharing your data

The page loads its font from Google Fonts, which means Google can see that your browser requested it.
